Journal ArticleDOI
Thermal degradation of polyacetylenes carrying substituents
TL;DR: Etude de polymeres mono-and disubstitues par des groupes aliphatique ou aromatique and de polymmeres disubstritues by des groupses contenant du silicium as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental evidence of interatomic coulombic decay from the auger final states in argon dimers.
Yuichiro Morishita,Xiao-Jing Liu,Norio Saito,Toralf Lischke,Masahiro Kato,Georg Prümper,Masaki Oura,Hitoshi Yamaoka,Yusuke Tamenori,Isao H. Suzuki,Kiyoshi Ueda +10 more
TL;DR: This ICD process is unambiguously identified by electron-ion-ion coincidence spectroscopy in which the kinetic energy of the ICD electron and the kineticenergy release between Ar+ and Ar2+ are measured in coincidence.
Journal ArticleDOI
Absolute photoionization cross sections with ultra-high energy resolution for Ar, Kr, Xe and N2 in inner-shell ionization regions
Masahiro Kato,Yuichiro Morishita,Masaki Oura,Hitoshi Yamaoka,Yusuke Tamenori,K. Okada,T. Matsudo,Tatsuo Gejo,Isao H. Suzuki,Norio Saito +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the high-resolution absolute photoionization cross sections for Ar, Kr, Xe and N2 in the inner-shell ionization region have been measured using a multi-electrode ion chamber and monochromatized synchrotron radiation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gelation Process of Poly(vinyl alcohol) As Studied by Small-Angle Neutron and Light Scattering
Toshiji Kanaya,Masatoshi Ohkura,Hiroki Takeshita,Keisuke Kaji,Michihiro Furusaka,Hitoshi Yamaoka,George D. Wignall +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) and light scattering (LS) studies on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) gels formed in a mixture of deuterated dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO-d{sub 6}) and heavy water at 23 C were reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pressure-induced anomalous valence crossover in cubic YbCu 5 -based compounds
Hitoshi Yamaoka,Naohito Tsujii,Michi-To Suzuki,Yoshiya Yamamoto,Ignace Jarrige,Hitoshi Sato,Jung-Fu Lin,Takeshi Mito,Jun'ichiro Mizuki,Hiroya Sakurai,Osamu Sakai,Nozomu Hiraoka,Hirofumi Ishii,Ku Ding Tsuei,Mauro Giovannini,Ernst Bauer +15 more
TL;DR: The Yb valence is found to decrease with increasing pressure, indicating a pressure-induced crossover from a localized 4f13 state to the valence fluctuation regime, which is not expected for Yb systems with conventional c–f hybridization.
