Journal ArticleDOI
Nicousamide blocks the effects of advanced glycation end products on renal cells.
TL;DR: It is shown that nicousamide retards diabetic nephropathy by blocking the effects of AGE on renal cells, and suppression of matrix metalloproteinase activity by AGE was restored by Nicousamide.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel Fluorescent Pyxinol-Based Probes: Design, Synthesis and Biological Evaluation
TL;DR: The results showed that the molecular fluorescent probe with hydrophilic flexible polyethylene glycol (PEG) linker retained the anti-MIRI activity of pyxinol.
Journal ArticleDOI
VE-822, a novel DNA Holliday junction stabilizer, inhibits homologous recombination repair and triggers DNA damage response in osteogenic sarcomas.
Qikun Yin,Liu Xuecun,Lei Hu,Qinqin Song,Liu Shuqi,Qiuping Huang,Zitong Geng,Yanping Zhu,Xiaopeng Li,Fenghua Fu,Hongbo Wang +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a DNA Holliday junction (HJ) stabilizer, VE-822, was identified as an effective DNA HJ stabilizer to promote the assembly of HJ both in vitro and in cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Toxicity effects of a novel potent triple reuptake inhibitor, LPM570065, on the fertility and early embryonic development in Sprague-Dawley rats.
Wei Guo,Yonglin Gao,Wanglin Jiang,Chunmei Li,Fei Lin,Hai-Bo Zhu,Hongbo Wang,Liang Ye,Jia Grace Qi,Xiaobo Cen,Jingwei Tian +10 more
TL;DR: Toxicity of LPM570065 was further evaluated on the fertility and early embryonic development in Sprague‐Dawley rats and the no observable adverse effect level (NOAEL) was established at 100mg/ kg and 300mg/kg for female and male rats, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Degradation of 2,6-dichloro-1,4-benzoquinone by UV/H2O2/O3 treatment: Effectiveness, water matrix effects, and degradation mechanism.
Zhangbin Pan,Zhenqi Du,Junqi Jia,Aiguo Lin,Yongqiang Zhang and Rui Wang,Wu Chang Song,Shao Hua Sun,Hongbo Wang,Ruibao Jia,Li'an Hou +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the effects of ultraviolet-based advanced oxidation processes (UV-AOPs) on the degradation of 2,6-dichloro-1,4-benzoquinone (DCBQ) were evaluated.
