Ptychographic Imaging of Nano-Materials at the Advanced Light Source with the Nanosurveyor Instrument
David A. Shapiro,R. S. Celestre,Peter Denes,Maryam Farmand,John Joseph,A. L. D. Kilcoyne,Stefano Marchesini,Howard A. Padmore,Singanallur Venkatakrishnan,Tony Warwick,Young-Sang Yu +10 more
TL;DR: The Nanosurveyor as discussed by the authors is a ptychographic x-ray microscope dedicated to soft xray tomography and spectromicroscopy of nano-materials at the Advanced Light Source.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clear evidence for strain changes according to Co layer thickness in metastable Co/Pd(111) multilayers: An extended x-ray absorption fine structure study.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and x-ray characterization of sputtered bi-alkali antimonide photocathodes
Mengjia Gaowei,Zihao Ding,S. Schubert,Harish B. Bhandari,John Sinsheimer,J. Kuehn,Vivek V. Nagarkar,M. S. J. Marshall,John J. Walsh,Erik Muller,Klaus Attenkofer,Henry J. Frisch,Howard A. Padmore,John Smedley +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a bi-alkali antimonide photocathode with an order of magnitude improved roughness by sputter deposition from a K2CsSb sputter target is presented, using in situ and operando X-ray characterizations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Measurement of synchrotron pulse durations using surface photovoltage transients
Thornton E. Glover,G.D. Ackermann,Ali Belkacem,B. Feinberg,Philip Heimann,Zahid Hussain,Howard A. Padmore,Cédric Ray,Robert W. Schoenlein,W.F. Steele +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a two-component decay was observed for a combined laser and synchrotron X-ray radiation. But the decay was not observed in the case of p-type Si samples.
Journal ArticleDOI
Large area nanoimprint enables ultra-precise x-ray diffraction gratings.
TL;DR: A process for fabrication of ultra-precise diffraction gratings for high resolution x-ray spectroscopy was developed and successful implementation of the suggested fabrication approach was demonstrated by fabrication of a lamellar 900 lines/mm VLS grating for a soft x-Ray fluorescence spectrometer.
