Effects of the aqueous phase recycling on bio-oil yield in hydrothermal liquefaction of Spirulina Platensis, α-cellulose, and lignin
TL;DR: In this paper, the aqueous phase from the HTL of Spirulina Platensis was recycled as the intermediate reactant and its effects on the bio-oil yield from the HetLefefaction of Spirula Platensis, α-Cellulose, and Lignin were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study on co-liquefaction of Spirulina and Spartina alterniflora in ethanol-water co-solvent for bio-oil
TL;DR: In this article, the possibility of co-liquefaction (CL) of Spartina alterniflora with a low-lipid containing microalgae Spirulina in ethanol-water co-solvent (EWCS) for bio-oil production was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bio-oil production from hydrothermal liquefaction of ultrasonic pre-treated Spirulina platensis
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of ultrasonic pre-treatment of microalgae (Spirulina platensis) on HTL products distribution and oil quality.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of low-temperature catalytic hydrothermal liquefaction of Spirulina platensis
Sabariswaran Kandasamy,Bo Zhang,Zhixia He,Haitao Chen,Huan Feng,Qian Wang,Bin Wang,Veeramuthu Ashokkumar,S. Siva,Narayanamoorthy Bhuvanendran,M. Krishnamoorthi +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the cerium oxide (CeO2) nanocatalyst was employed as a catalyst to enhance the hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) of microalgae to bio-oil conversion.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental study of spray characteristics of diesel/hydrogenated catalytic biodiesel blended fuels under inert and reacting conditions
TL;DR: In this article, the spray characteristics of diesel with HCB fuel blends were investigated in a constant volume combustion chamber to provide an accessible tool to predict spray behavior based on cheap and off-engine condition measurements for applying HCB in diesel engines.
