Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of nano-graphene oxide and n-butanol fuel additives blended with diesel-Nigella sativa biodiesel fuel emulsion on diesel engine characteristics
Hurmathulla Khan,Manzoore Elahi M. Soudagar,Rajagopal Harish Kumar,Mohammad Reza Safaei,Muhammad Farooq,Abdulqhadar Khidmatgar,Nagaraj R. Banapurmath,Rizwan A. Farade,Muhammad Abbas,Asif Afzal,Waqar Ahmed,Marjan Goodarzi,Syed Noeman Taqui +12 more
TL;DR: The results obtained indicates that 90 ppm of graphene oxide nanoparticles and 10% n-butanol in Nigella sativa biodiesel are comparable with diesel fuel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nanofluids as secondary fluid in the refrigeration system: Experimental data, regression, ANFIS, and NN modeling
Zhixiong Li,Zhixiong Li,Felipe Lemos Renault,Abdul Orlando Cárdenas Gómez,Mohammad Mohsen Sarafraz,Hurmathulla Khan,Mohammad Reza Safaei,Enio Pedone Bandarra Filho +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a comparison of measured and theoretical thermophysical properties of different nanofluids and using the properties to evaluate their suitability as a secondary working fluid in refrigeration systems, aiming at the external thermodynamic losses.
Journal Article
A case to study population dynamics of Bemisia tabaci and Thrips tabaci on Bt and non-Bt cotton genotypes.
Muhammad Akram,Faisal Hafeez,Muhammad Farooq,Muhammad Imran Arshad,Mussurrat Hussain,Saghir Ahmed,Khuram Zia,Hurmathulla Khan +7 more
TL;DR: Investigation of performance of eight Bt and five non-Bt cotton genotypes against whitefly and thrips and impact of abiotic factors on the population fluctuation of these sucking pests exhibited that Bt genotypes found more susceptible host for the white fly and thirps than non- Bt Genotypes, during the course of years of study.
Journal ArticleDOI
Performance and emission analysis of compression ignition engine using biodiesels from Acid oil, Mahua oil, and Castor oil
Mohammed Kareemullah,Asif Afzal,K. Fazlur Rehman,Kiran Shahapurkar,Hurmathulla Khan,Naveed Akram +5 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Optimum spacing between grooved tubes: An experimental study
TL;DR: An experimental study on optimum spacing between grooved tubes is reported in this paper, where the optimum spacing was decided based on Nusselt number (Nu) and the authors found that there exists a limiting spacing (optimum) between the tubes above which no change in Nu was observed.
