Journal ArticleDOI
Bioaccumulation of polystyrene nanoplastics and their effect on the toxicity of Au ions in zebrafish embryos.
Wang Sik Lee,Hyun-Ju Cho,Eungwang Kim,Yang Hoon Huh,Hyojeong Kim,Bongsoo Kim,Taejoon Kang,Jeong-Soo Lee,Jeong-Soo Lee,Jinyoung Jeong +9 more
TL;DR: The effects of polystyrene nanoplastics were marginal but could be a trigger for exacerbating the toxicity induced by other toxicants such as metal ions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Monte Carlo Study on the Water Meniscus Condensation and Capillary Force in Atomic Force Microscopy
TL;DR: In this article, the water meniscus condensed between a nanoscale tip and an atomically flat gold surface was examined under humid conditions using grand canonical Monte Carlo simulations, and the molecular structure of the menisus was investigated with particular focus on its width and stability.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prognostic value of posttreatment neutrophil–lymphocyte ratio in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma treated by chemoradiotherapy
TL;DR: A high posttreatment NLR is associated with poor prognostic factor, and an early reduction in the NLR after treatment may indicate survival improvement in the patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular dynamics study on the wettability of a hydrophobic surface textured with nanoscale pillars
TL;DR: Using molecular dynamics simulation, this work studied the wetting properties of a surface textured with hydrophobic pillars, several nanometers in size, and showed a long-lived CB state which eventually turns into the WZ state.
Journal ArticleDOI
Correlation of ICG lymphography and lymphoscintigraphy severity stage in secondary upper limb lymphedema.
Jin A Yoon,Myung Jun Shin,Yong Beom Shin,Keunyoung Kim,Heeseung Park,Taewoo Kang,In Joo Kong,Hyojeong Kim,Min Suk Park,Joo Hyoung Kim +9 more
TL;DR: Lymphoscintigraphy severity stage and ADB stage on ICG lymphography showed very strong positive correlation and substantial agreement, indicating that these two modalities can work synergistically to evaluate lymphedema severity.
