Journal ArticleDOI

Increasing the multiplexing capacity of TMTs using reporter ion isotopologues with isobaric masses.

TL;DR: This work serves as a blueprint for expanding the multiplexing capacity of the TMT reagents to at least 10-plex and possibly up to 18-plex, and is able to quantify across eight samples simultaneously by combining the (13)C- and (15)N-containing reporter ions.
Journal ArticleDOI

TMTpro reagents: a set of isobaric labeling mass tags enables simultaneous proteome-wide measurements across 16 samples.

TL;DR: A set of isobaric labeling reagents called TMTpro enables deep quantitative comparisons of proteome measurements across 16 samples, and identifies and dose-stratified staurosporine binding to 228 cellular kinases in just one, 18-h experiment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Use of NS-4 peptides to identify type-specific antibody to hepatitis C virus genotypes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

TL;DR: The existence of major antigenic differences between genotypes ofHCV is demonstrated, and how infection with different variants of HCV may be detected by a serological test is indicated.
Journal ArticleDOI

TMTpro: Design, Synthesis, and Initial Evaluation of a Proline-Based Isobaric 16-Plex Tandem Mass Tag Reagent Set

TL;DR: The ability to pool 16 samples reduces the overall amount of sample required for each channel and it is anticipated that TMTpro reagents will be a useful enhancement for any protocol that benefits from sample pooling and should reduce missing data.
