TL;DR: Individuals with nonclinical psychotic symptoms show a similar but less pronounced pattern of cortical thinning as patients with a psychotic disorder, which is suggestive of a similar, but milder underlying pathophysiology in the nonclinical hallucinating group compared to the psychosis group.
