Journal ArticleDOI
Genome‑wide ChIP‑seq data with a transcriptome analysis reveals the groups of genes regulated by histone demethylase LSD1 inhibition in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cells
Isamu Hoshino,Masahiko Takahashi,Yasunori Akutsu,Kentaro Murakami,Yasunori Matsumoto,Hiroshi Suito,Nobufumi Sekino,Aki Komatsu,Keiko Iida,Takayoshi Suzuki,Itsuro Inoue,Fumitaka Ishige,Yosuke Iwatate,Hisahiro Matsubara +13 more
TL;DR: The comprehensive gene expression study performed in the present study is considered to be useful for analyzing the mechanism of the antitumor effect of the LSD1 inhibitor in patients with ESCC.
Journal ArticleDOI
Surgical treatment strategy for esophagogastric junction cancers based on the tumor diameter
Isamu Hoshino,Hisashi Gunji,Fumitaka Ishige,Yosuke Iwatate,Nobuhiro Takiguchi,Atsushi Ikeda,Hiroaki Soda,Toru Tonooka,Nami Sato,Kenji Kawahara,Yoshihiro Nabeya +10 more
TL;DR: As the tumor grows large, it is difficult to accurately judge EGJ on the image, and as a result it is hard to understand the exact esophageal invasion distance of the tumor, so lymph node dissection including the upper mediastinum is considered vital, regardless of the degree of esophagal invasion.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prevalence of serum galectin-1 autoantibodies in seven types of cancer: A potential biomarker.
Tatsuki Nanami,Isamu Hoshino,Fumiaki Shiratori,Satoshi Yajima,Yoko Oshima,Takashi Suzuki,Masaaki Ito,Takaki Hiwasa,Akiko Kuwajima,Hideaki Shimada +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the results revealed that the positive rates of s-GAL-1-abs in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (16.7%) and lung cancer (13.8%) were significantly higher compared with the other groups.
Journal ArticleDOI
Deep learning-based gene selection in comprehensive gene analysis in pancreatic cancer.
Yasukuni Mori,Hajime Yokota,Isamu Hoshino,Yosuke Iwatate,Kohei Wakamatsu,Takashi Uno,Hiroki Suyari +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a deep learning-based feature selection method was developed for gene selection in pancreatic cancer, which includes an additional feature-selection layer to select genes that worked effectively in the processing of the networks.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prediction of the differences in tumor mutation burden between primary and metastatic lesions by radiogenomics.
Isamu Hoshino,Hajime Yokota,Yosuke Iwatate,Yasukuni Mori,Naoki Kuwayama,Fumitaka Ishige,Makiko Itami,Takashi Uno,Yuki Nakamura,Yasutoshi Tatsumi,Osamu Shimozato,Hiroki Nagase +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the status of TMB in primary and liver metastatic lesions in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC) and inferred TMB status by radiogenomics on the basis of CT images.
