Are all symptoms in patients in IBD due to occult inflammation
TL;DR: The conclusion that “ IBD is IBD until proven otherwise ” is overly simplistic and deserves a closer scrutiny based on their own data and those of others, and there is every likelihood that post-infl ammatory sensory change will also be present in a subset of IBD patients.

TL;DR: Baseline anxiety and younger age predicted depression, while baseline anxiety, high school non-completion, and single relationship status predicted anxiety, and a worsening trajectory of depression and anxiety was demonstrated.
