Journal ArticleDOI
In vitro fertilization with preimplantation genetic screening.
Sebastiaan Mastenbroek,M. Twisk,Jannie van Echten-Arends,Birgit Sikkema-Raddatz,Johanna C. Korevaar,Harold R. Verhoeve,Niels E. A. Vogel,Eus G. J. M. Arts,Jan W.A de Vries,Patrick M.M. Bossuyt,Charles H.C.M. Buys,Maas Jan Heineman,Sjoerd Repping,Fulco van der Veen +13 more

Comparative genomic hybridization of microdissected samples from different stages in the development of a seminoma and a non-seminoma
Leendert H. J. Looijenga,Carla Rosenberg,Ruud J.H.L.M. van Gurp,Eric Geelen,Eric Geelen,Jannie van Echten-Arends,Bauke de Jong,M.C. Mostert,J. Wolter Oosterhuis +8 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that particular numerical changes of (parts of) chromosomes are involved in the early development and progression of this cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fertility preservation after chemotherapy for Hodgkin lymphoma
Marleen A. E. van der Kaaij,Jannie van Echten-Arends,Arnold Simons,Hanneke C. Kluin-Nelemans +3 more
TL;DR: Data on fertility after chemotherapy in adult patients is summarized and GnRH‐analogues are being investigated as possible means to preserve fertility in women, but effectiveness has not yet been proven conclusively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sperm quality before treatment in patients with early stage Hodgkin's lymphoma enrolled in EORTC-GELA Lymphoma Group trials.
Marleen A. E. van der Kaaij,Natacha Heutte,Jannie van Echten-Arends,John M. M. Raemaekers,Patrice Carde,Evert M. Noordijk,Christophe Fermé,José Thomas,Houchingue Eghbali,Pauline Brice,Caroline Bonmati,Michel Henry-Amar,Hanneke C. Kluin-Nelemans +12 more
TL;DR: There was an association between sperm quality and the presence or absence of B-symptoms, in particular fever and night sweats, and with modern fertilization techniques, in most patients with early-stage Hodgkin’s lymphoma sperm quality before treatment is good enough for future fatherhood.
