Spin-transition in [FeII(L5)2][ClO4]2 [L5 = 2-[3-(2′-pyridyl)pyrazol-1-ylmethyl](1-methylimidazole)]: a further example of coexistence of features typical for disorder and cooperativity

TL;DR: The complete photo-magnetic data were modelled using a non-cooperative master equation including a tunnelling process with distributed parameters and accounting for the bulk absorption of light, and the obtained features with respect to structural properties, including the suggested presence of disorder.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photoinduced phenomena and structural analysis associated with the spin-state switching in the [FeII(DPEA)(NCS)2] complex

TL;DR: In this paper, the photo-induced switching from the low-spin to the high-spin state has been investigated on the iron(II) complex by both optical reflectivity and magnetic measurements under continuous light irradiation at low temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Light-Induced Excited Spin-State Properties in 1D Iron(II) Chain Compounds

TL;DR: In this article, three iron(II) 1D coordination polymers with the general formula [FeLeq(Lax)]*solvent with Leq = {3,3′-[1,2-phenylenebis(iminomethylidyne)]bis(2,4-pentanedionato)(2-)-N,N′, O2,O2′; Lax = 4,4′-bipyridine (bipy, 1), 1,2)-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane (

Third-Order Nonlinear Optical Properties in the Excited State of Well-Defined Thiophene−Dimethylsilyl Co-oligomers

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of oligomers for nonlinear optics (NLO), the thiophene−dimethylsilyl co-oligomers, (TSi)n−T with n = 1−3, have been synthesized in order to combine third-order NLO response and transparency in the visible region.
