Systematic literature review of determinants of sedentary behaviour in older adults: a DEDIPAC study.
Sebastien F. M. Chastin,Christoph Buck,Ellen Freiberger,Marie H. Murphy,Johannes Brug,Greet Cardon,Grainne O'Donoghue,Iris Pigeot,Jean-Michel Oppert +8 more
TL;DR: Few studies have investigated determinants of sedentary behaviour in older adults and these have to date mostly focussed on personal factors, and qualitative studies were mostly lacking.
Journal ArticleDOI
Micronutrient and Protein Deficiencies After Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy: a 1-year Follow-up
Eric O. Verger,Eric O. Verger,Judith Aron-Wisnewsky,Judith Aron-Wisnewsky,Judith Aron-Wisnewsky,Maria Carlota Dao,Maria Carlota Dao,Brandon D. Kayser,Brandon D. Kayser,Jean-Michel Oppert,Jean-Luc Bouillot,Adriana Torcivia,Karine Clément,Karine Clément,Karine Clément +14 more
TL;DR: GBP and SG have comparable effects in terms of energy and food restriction and subsequent risk of micronutrient and protein deficiencies in the first year post BS, and results advocate for a cautious monitoring of protein intake after GPB and SG and a systematic multivitamin and mineral supplementation in thefirst year after SG.
Journal ArticleDOI
The SOS-framework (Systems of Sedentary behaviours): An international transdisciplinary consensus framework for the study of determinants, research priorities and policy on sedentary behaviour across the life course: A DEDIPAC-study
Sebastien F. M. Chastin,Marieke De Craemer,Nanna Lien,Claire M. Bernaards,Christoph Buck,Jean-Michel Oppert,Julie-Anne Nazare,Jeroen Lakerveld,Grainne O'Donoghue,Michelle Holdsworth,Neville Owen,Johannes Brug,Greet Cardon +12 more
TL;DR: Through an international transdisciplinary consensus process, the SOS framework was developed for the determinants of sedentary behaviour through the life course and can be used as an important tool to prioritise future research and to develop policies to reduce sedentary time.

The SPOTLIGHT virtual audit tool: a valid and reliable tool to assess obesogenic characteristics of the built environment
John R. Bethlehem,Joreintje D. Mackenbach,Maher Ben-Rebah,Sofie Compernolle,Ketevan Glonti,Helga Bárdos,Harry Rutter,Hélène Charreire,Jean-Michel Oppert,Jean-Michel Oppert,Johannes Brug,Jeroen Lakerveld +11 more
TL;DR: These study results suggest that the S-VAT is a highly reliable and valid remote sensing tool to assess potential obesogenic environmental characteristics.
Journal ArticleDOI
The advanced-DiaRem score improves prediction of diabetes remission 1 year post-Roux-en-Y gastric bypass.
Judith Aron-Wisnewsky,Nataliya Sokolovska,Yuejun Liu,Doron Comaneshter,Shlomo Vinker,Shlomo Vinker,Tal Pecht,Christine Poitou,Jean-Michel Oppert,Jean-Luc Bouillot,Laurent Genser,Dror Dicker,Dror Dicker,Jean-Daniel Zucker,Assaf Rudich,Karine Clément +15 more
TL;DR: The Ad-DiaRem is proposed, which includes two additional clinical variables, as an optimised tool with improved accuracy to predict diabetes remission 1 year post-RYGB, and might be helpful for personalised management of individuals with diabetes when considering bariatric surgery in routine care.
