A Multicenter Study of 705 Ruptured Intracranial Aneurysms Treated with Guglielmi Detachable Coils
Sophie Gallas,Anne Pasco,Jean-Philippe Cottier,Jean Gabrillargues,J. Drouineau,Christophe Cognard,Denis Herbreteau +6 more
TL;DR: The authors' multicenter study confirms the stability of aneurysm embolization with GDC, with only 4.7% of anuerysms requiring re-treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Using PET with 18F-AV-45 (florbetapir) to quantify brain amyloid load in a clinical environment
Vincent Camus,Pierre Payoux,Pierre Payoux,Louisa Barré,Louisa Barré,B. Desgranges,B. Desgranges,B. Desgranges,Thierry Voisin,Thierry Voisin,Clovis Tauber,Clovis Tauber,R. La Joie,R. La Joie,R. TL;DR: Positron emission tomography with florbetapir is a safe and suitable biomarker for AD that can be used routinely in a clinical environment, however, the low specificity of the visual PET scan assessment could be improved by the use of specific training and automatic or semiautomatic quantification tools.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cavernous sinus invasion by pituitary adenoma: MR imaging.
Jean-Philippe Cottier,Christophe Destrieux,Laurent Brunereau,Philippe Bertrand,Laurence Moreau,Michel Jan,Denis Herbreteau +6 more
TL;DR: The radiologic diagnosis of cavernous sinus invasion by pituitary adenoma remains difficult, but the above-mentioned criteria may be of assistance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular Imaging of Microglial Activation in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
Philippe Corcia,Clovis Tauber,Clovis Tauber,Johnnie Vercoullie,Johnnie Vercoullie,Nicolas Arlicot,Nicolas Arlicot,Caroline Prunier,Julien Praline,Guillaume Nicolas,Y. Venel,Caroline Hommet,Caroline Hommet,Jean-Louis Baulieu,Jean-Louis Baulieu,Jean-Philippe Cottier,Jean-Philippe Cottier,Catherine Roussel,Mickael Kassiou,Denis Guilloteau,Maria-Joao Ribeiro +20 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that the cortical uptake of 18F-DPA-714 was increased in ALS patients during the “time of diagnosis” phase of the disease, which might improve the understanding of the pathophysiology of ALS and might be a surrogate marker of efficacy of treatment on microglial activation.
Journal Article
Utility of Balloon-assisted Guglielmi Detachable Coiling in the Treatment of 49 Cerebral Aneurysms: A Retrospective, Multicenter Study
Jean-Philippe Cottier,Anne Pasco,Sophie Gallas,Jean Gabrillargues,Christophe Cognard,J. Drouineau,Laurent Brunereau,Denis Herbreteau +7 more
TL;DR: Balloon-assisted coiling is an important adjunct in the treatment of aneurysms with a wide neck or low SNR and it is found that there is a correlation between the diameter of the sac and the occlusion rate, but not between the size of the neck or the SNR
