Cavernous sinus invasion by pituitary adenoma: MR imaging.
Jean-Philippe Cottier,Christophe Destrieux,Laurent Brunereau,Philippe Bertrand,Laurence Moreau,Michel Jan,Denis Herbreteau +6 more
TL;DR: The radiologic diagnosis of cavernous sinus invasion by pituitary adenoma remains difficult, but the above-mentioned criteria may be of assistance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evidence of involvement of CD44 in endothelial cell proliferation, migration and angiogenesis in vitro
Véronique Trochon,Christelle Mabilat,Philippe Bertrand,Yves Legrand,Florence Smadja-Joffe,Claudine Soria,Bertrand Delpech,He Lu +7 more
TL;DR: Evidence is provided of the involvement of endothelial‐cell‐associated CD44 in angiogenesis, which is essential for tumor growth and metastasis and abolishes the stimulating effect of hyaluronan polysaccharides on endothelial cell migration and proliferation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Atrial Functional Mitral Regurgitation: JACC Review Topic of the Week
Sébastien Deferm,Philippe Bertrand,Frederik H. Verbrugge,David Verhaert,Filip Rega,James D. Thomas,Pieter M. Vandervoort +6 more
TL;DR: This review summarizes the prevalence and prognostic importance of atrial functional MR, providing mechanistic insights compared with those of secondary MR and suggesting potential therapeutic targets.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prevalence and risk factors of urinary incontinence in young and middle-aged women
TL;DR: There was a high prevalence of UI among young adult and middle-aged women hospital workers who had easy access to medical resources and the risk factors for stress UI were age 40 years, pregnancy, previous vaginal delivery, postpartum incontinence and hysterectomy.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-dose therapy followed by autologous purged stem-cell transplantation and doxorubicin-based chemotherapy in patients with advanced follicular lymphoma: a randomized multicenter study by GOELAMS
Eric Deconinck,Charles Foussard,Noel Milpied,Philippe Bertrand,Patrick Michenet,Pascale Cornillet-Lefebvre,Martine Escoffre-Barbe,Hervé Maisonneuve,Vincent Delwail,Remy Gressin,Eric Legouffe,Jean-Pierre Vilque,Bernard Desablens,Jérôme Jaubert,Jean-François Ramée,Arash Jenabian,Antoine Thyss,Annick Le Pourhiet-Le Mevel,Philippe Travade,Roselyne Delepine,Philippe Colombat +20 more
TL;DR: Patients treated with high-dose immunochemotherapy followed by purged autologous stem-cell transplantation had a higher response rate and a longer median event-free survival, but this did not translate into a better survival rate due to an excess of secondary malignancies after transplantation.
