Using PET with 18F-AV-45 (florbetapir) to quantify brain amyloid load in a clinical environment
Vincent Camus,Pierre Payoux,Pierre Payoux,Louisa Barré,Louisa Barré,B. Desgranges,B. Desgranges,B. Desgranges,Thierry Voisin,Thierry Voisin,Clovis Tauber,Clovis Tauber,R. La Joie,R. La Joie,R. La Joie,M. Tafani,M. Tafani,Caroline Hommet,Caroline Hommet,Gaël Chételat,Gaël Chételat,Gaël Chételat,Karl Mondon,Karl Mondon,V. de la Sayette,V. de la Sayette,V. de la Sayette,Jean-Philippe Cottier,Jean-Philippe Cottier,E. Beaufils,E. Beaufils,Maria Joao Ribeiro,Maria Joao Ribeiro,Valérie Gissot,Emilie Vierron,Emilie Vierron,Johnny Vercouillie,Johnny Vercouillie,Bruno Vellas,Bruno Vellas,Francis Eustache,Francis Eustache,Francis Eustache,Denis Guilloteau +43 more
TL;DR: Positron emission tomography with florbetapir is a safe and suitable biomarker for AD that can be used routinely in a clinical environment, however, the low specificity of the visual PET scan assessment could be improved by the use of specific training and automatic or semiautomatic quantification tools.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular Imaging of Microglial Activation in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
Philippe Corcia,Clovis Tauber,Clovis Tauber,Johnnie Vercoullie,Johnnie Vercoullie,Nicolas Arlicot,Nicolas Arlicot,Caroline Prunier,Julien Praline,Guillaume Nicolas,Y. Venel,Caroline Hommet,Caroline Hommet,Jean-Louis Baulieu,Jean-Louis Baulieu,Jean-Philippe Cottier,Jean-Philippe Cottier,Catherine Roussel,Mickael Kassiou,Denis Guilloteau,Maria-Joao Ribeiro +20 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that the cortical uptake of 18F-DPA-714 was increased in ALS patients during the “time of diagnosis” phase of the disease, which might improve the understanding of the pathophysiology of ALS and might be a surrogate marker of efficacy of treatment on microglial activation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Initial evaluation in healthy humans of [18F]DPA-714, a potential PET biomarker for neuroinflammation.
Nicolas Arlicot,Johnny Vercouillie,Johnny Vercouillie,Maria-Joao Ribeiro,Maria-Joao Ribeiro,Clovis Tauber,Clovis Tauber,Y. Venel,Jean-Louis Baulieu,Jean-Louis Baulieu,S. Maia,Philippe Corcia,Philippe Corcia,Michael G. Stabin,Aaron J. Reynolds,Michael Kassiou,Denis Guilloteau +16 more
TL;DR: This initial study in humans shows that [(18)F]DPA-714 is a promising PET radioligand with excellent in vivo stability and biodistribution, and acceptable effective dose estimation, and could provide a sensitive measure of neuroinflammatory changes in subsequent clinical investigations.
Journal ArticleDOI
The first MICCAI challenge on PET tumor segmentation.
Mathieu Hatt,Baptiste Laurent,Anouar Ouahabi,Hadi Fayad,Shan Tan,Laquan Li,Wei Lu,Vincent Jaouen,Clovis Tauber,Jakub Czakon,Filip Drapejkowski,Witold Dyrka,Sorina Camarasu-Pop,Frederic Cervenansky,Pascal Girard,Tristan Glatard,Michael Kain,Yao Yao,Christian Barillot,Assen S. Kirov,Dimitris Visvikis +20 more
TL;DR: The most rigorous comparative study of PET segmentation algorithms to date was carried out using a dataset that is the largest used in such studies so far, and the hierarchy amongst the methods in terms of accuracy did not depend strongly on the subset of datasets or the metrics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prenatal Exposure to Methylphenidate Affects the Dopamine System and the Reactivity to Natural Reward in Adulthood in Rats
François Xavier Lepelletier,Clovis Tauber,Céline Nicolas,Marcello Solinas,Pierre Castelnau,Catherine Belzung,Patrick Emond,Samuele Cortese,Stephen V. Faraone,Sylvie Chalon,Laurent Galineau +10 more
TL;DR: This is the first preclinical study reporting long-lasting neurobiological alterations of DA networks as well as alterations in motivational behaviors for natural rewards after a prenatal exposure to MPH, and it is demonstrated that MPH rats display a decreased preference and motivation for sucrose.
