Specific Induction of Double Negative B Cells During Protective and Pathogenic Immune Responses.
Christoph Ruschil,Gisela Gabernet,Gildas Lepennetier,Simon Heumos,Miriam Kaminski,Zsuzsanna Hracsko,Martin Irmler,Johannes Beckers,Ulf Ziemann,Sven Nahnsen,Gregory P. Owens,Jeffrey Bennett,Bernhard Hemmer,Markus C. Kowarik,Markus C. Kowarik +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, double negative (DN) B cells are expanded in patients with autoimmune and infectious diseases; however, their role in the humoral immune response remains unclear, and it is not known whether double negative B cells play any role in human immune response.
Journal ArticleDOI
Perceptual cues used by listeners to discriminate fluent from nonfluent narrative discourse
Hyejin Park,Yvonne Rogalski,Amy D. Rodriguez,Zvinka Z. Zlatar,Michelle Benjamin,Stacy M. Harnish,Stacy M. Harnish,Jeffrey Bennett,John C. Rosenbek,John C. Rosenbek,Bruce Crosson,Bruce Crosson,Jamie Reilly +12 more
TL;DR: A small combination of perceptual variables can strongly discriminate whether a listener will assign a judgement of fluent versus nonfluent in language fluency among adults with acquired speech and language disorders.
Journal ArticleDOI
Consequences of NMO-IgG binding to aquaporin-4 in neuromyelitis optica
TL;DR: It is proposed that NMO pathogenesis involves NMO-IgG–induced internalization of M1-AQP4 and direct inhibition of AQP4 water permeability, resulting in increased OAP size, enhanced complement-dependent cytotoxicity, and tissue swelling.

Revised Diagnostic Criteria for Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorders (S63.001)
Dean M. Wingerchuk,Brenda Banwell,Jeffrey Bennett,Philippe Cabre,William M. Carroll,Tanuja Chitnis,Jérôme De Seze,Kazuo Fujihara,Benjamin Greenberg,Anu Jacob,Sven Jarius,Marco Aurélio Lana-Peixoto,Michael J. Levy,Jack H. Simon,Silvia Tenembaum,Anthony Traboulsee,Patrick Waters,Kay E. Wellik,Brian G. Weinshenker +18 more
TL;DR: The International Panel for NMO Diagnosis (IPND) achieved consensus on revised diagnostic criteria for adult and pediatric NMOSD, with or without AQP4-IgG, for clinical and research purposes and to distinguishNMOSD from competing diagnoses.
