Journal ArticleDOI

A pilot study to investigate the feasibility and cardiac effects of pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PL-DOX) as adjuvant therapy in medically fit elderly breast cancer patients.

TL;DR: Elderly women receiving six cycles of pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PL-DOX) cyclophosphamide as adjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer showed the feasibility of this regimen with limited serious toxicity, showing early initiation of preventive measures to prevent further irreversible cardiac damage.
Journal ArticleDOI

Right ventricular systolic dysfunction at rest is not related to decreased exercise capacity in patients with a systemic right ventricle.

TL;DR: In adults with a systemic RV, there is no relation between echocardiographic or CMR-derived sRV systolic function parameters at rest and peak oxygen uptake, even after adjusting for associated cardiac defects or pacemakers.
