Journal ArticleDOI
Multielectron spectroscopy: the xenon 4d hole double auger decay.
Francis Penent,Jérôme Palaudoux,Pascal Lablanquie,Lidija Andric,Raimund Feifel,John H. D. Eland +5 more
TL;DR: A magnetic bottle spectrometer of the type recently developed by Eland et al. has been implemented for use with synchrotron radiation, allowing multidimensional electron spectroscopy as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Properties of hollow molecules probed by single-photon double ionization.
Pascal Lablanquie,Pascal Lablanquie,Francis Penent,Francis Penent,Jérôme Palaudoux,Jérôme Palaudoux,Lidija Andric,Lidija Andric,P. Selles,P. Selles,Stéphane Carniato,Stéphane Carniato,Klemen Bučar,Matjaž Žitnik,Marko Huttula,John H. D. Eland,Eiji Shigemasa,Kouichi Soejima,Yasumasa Hikosaka,Isao H. Suzuki,M. Nakano,K. Ito +21 more
TL;DR: Detailed properties are presented such as the spectroscopy, formation, and decay dynamics of the N(2)(2+) K(-2) main and satellite states and the strong chemical shifts of double K holes on an oxygen atom in CO, CO2, and O2 molecules.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evidence of single-photon two-site core double ionization of C2H2 molecules.
Pascal Lablanquie,Tasko P. Grozdanov,M Zitnik,Stéphane Carniato,Stéphane Carniato,P. Selles,P. Selles,Lidija Andric,Lidija Andric,Jérôme Palaudoux,Jérôme Palaudoux,Francis Penent,Francis Penent,H. Iwayama,Eiji Shigemasa,Yasumasa Hikosaka,Kouichi Soejima,M. Nakano,Isao H. Suzuki,K. Ito +19 more
TL;DR: A simple theoretical model based on the knockout mechanism gives reasonable agreement with experiment on the formation in a single-photon transition of two core holes, each at a different carbon atom of the C2H2 molecule.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multielectron spectroscopy: Auger decays of the krypton 3d hole
Jérôme Palaudoux,Jérôme Palaudoux,Pascal Lablanquie,Pascal Lablanquie,Lidija Andric,Lidija Andric,Lidija Andric,Kenji Ito,Eiji Shigemasa,John H. D. Eland,Valdas Jonauskas,Sigitas Kučas,R Karazija,Francis Penent,Francis Penent +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the emission of one or two Auger electrons, following inner-shell ionization by synchrotron light, has been investigated both experimentally and theoretically, and all electrons emitted in the process are detected in coincidence and analyzed in energy thanks to a magnetic-bottle electron time-of-flight spectrometer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multielectron spectroscopy: Auger decays of the argon 2p hole
P. Lablanquie,L. Andric,Jérôme Palaudoux,Uwe Becker,Markus Braune,Jens Viefhaus,John H. D. Eland,Francis Penent +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, all the different Auger decay paths of Argon 2p holes have been characterized using a time-of-flight spectrometer of the magnetic bottle type and all electrons (the photoelectron and up to three Auger electrons) are detected in coincidence and resolved in energy.
