Coupling of heterogeneous advanced oxidation processes and photocatalysis in efficient degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride by Fe-based MOFs: Synergistic effect and degradation pathway
TL;DR: In this article, a Fe-based metal organic framework (MIL-88A) has been synthesized through a hydrothermal method and adopted as a high-efficiency catalyst for photocatalysis coupled with sulfate radical-based advanced oxidation processes (SR-AOPs) to degrade tetracycline hydrochloride (TC-HCl) under visible light irradiation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel hollow microspheres of hierarchical zinc-aluminum layered double hydroxides and their enhanced adsorption capacity for phosphate in water.
TL;DR: Hollow microspheres of hierarchical Zn-Al layered double hydroxides (LDHs) were synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method using urea as precipitating agent and appear to be effective adsorbents for removing phosphate from aqueous solutions due to their hierarchical porous structures and high specific surface areas.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation of amino-functionalized magnetic biochar with excellent adsorption performance for Cr(VI) by a mild one-step hydrothermal method from peanut hull
TL;DR: Amino-functionalized magnetic biochar from wasted peanut hull (MPHC-HDA) with excellent adsorption properties for Cr(VI) was successfully prepared by a mild one-step hydrothermal method in the presence of iron chloride and hexamethylenediamine (HDA), and the physicochemical properties of the peanut hull based biochar, HDA-modified PHC (PHC-PHC), and MPHC-hDA were comparatively characterized by XRD, SEM, FT-IR, VSM, N2 adsorptive/des
Journal ArticleDOI
Size distribution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in urban and suburban sites of Beijing, China.
TL;DR: Investigation of PAHs in five-stage size segregated aerosol particles of Beijing suggested that coal combustion for domestic heating was probably major contributor to the higherPAHs loading in winter, whereas PAHS in other seasons displayed characteristic of mixed source of gasoline and diesel vehicle exhaust.
Journal ArticleDOI
Visible light photocatalytic degradation of MB using UiO-66/g-C3N4 heterojunction nanocatalyst.
TL;DR: The trapping experiment and electron spin resonance (ESR) results showed that superoxide radicals was the main oxidative species in the photodegradation of MB and the enhanced photocatalytic mechanism of UiO-66/g-C3N4 heterojunction hybrids was also proposed.
