Energy Efficiency Maximization of Dynamic CoMP-JT Algorithm in Dense Small Cell Networks

TL;DR: This work transforms the EE maximization subproblem of power allocation for SBSs into a convex problem that can be solved by proposed power allocation optimization algorithm and shows that the proposed solution has a much lower computational complexity than that of the optimal solution obtained by exhaustive search.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Stochastic Resonance Pre-Processing for Estimating Doppler Frequency Shift under Low SNR Conditions

TL;DR: Theoretical derivation demonstrates the proposed algorithm can effectively improve SNR and bandwidth ratio of the received signal, thereby reducing estimated error of the LCR algorithm and the Monte-Carlo simulation results show that it improves estimated performance of 2~4dB without increasing computational complexity under low SNRs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cooperative sensing using inactive secondary users in cognitive radio system

TL;DR: Both the theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate that the performance of the trade-off between the time period used for sensing and the achievable throughput can be improved by utilizing the inactive SUs.
Journal ArticleDOI

[Analysis of Long-Term Prognostic Factors Based on Nutritional Status in Patients with Multiple Myeloma].

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors explore the prognostic factors of patients with multiple myeloma (MM) based on nutritional status and find that the low risk group (≤2 points) of the multiparameter risk stratification had longer OS time and progression-free survival (PFS) time compared with the high risk group (>2 points), and it was also effective for different age or karyotype subgroups, new drug groups containing bortezomib and transplant-ineligible subgroup.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Performance of multi-hop packet radio networks with mobile adaptive antennas

TL;DR: Analysis and simulation indicates that mobile stations in packet radio networks employing mobile adaptive antennas can offer a significant performance enhancement when compared with their omnidirectional counterparts.
