Superframe-based efficient media access control method in wireless body area network

TL;DR: In this paper, a superframe-based efficient media access control method in a wireless body area network, mainly solving the problems that an IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) 802.15.4 protocol is incapable of distinguishing service priorities and has time slot waste in a noncompetitive period.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interference-aware QoS multicast routing for smart grid

TL;DR: This paper proposes a new routing algorithm to identify a multicast tree with minimum end-to-end transmission delay for multicasting a C & C message from the controller to a set of remote devices and demonstrates that the proposed routing algorithm outperforms the existing multicasts tree routing algorithm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Joint UAV Access and GEO Satellite Backhaul in IoRT Networks: Performance Analysis and Optimization

TL;DR: A mixed-integer optimization problem of the access scale that contains a nondifferentiable variable derived from a transcendental equation and a three-directional iterative (TDI) algorithm to search the optimal solution of the optimization problem are formulated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modeling and Performance Analysis for Satellite Data Relay Networks Using Two-Dimensional Markov-Modulated Process

TL;DR: This work proposes a Markov Chain Monte Carlo based Markov Modulated Service Process (MMSP) which can tightly match the distributions of the active and inactive periods of the data transmission and proposes two algorithms to calculate the service state transition probability and the number of the sub-states in each service state, respectively.

Misalignment-Robust Receiving Scheme for UCA-Based OAM Communication Systems

TL;DR: This work considers uniform circular array based OAM system, proposes a misalignment-robust receiving method through extracting the phases of channel state information (CSI) and implementing joint phase compensation and signal detection and results show that proposed receiving scheme is more robust to misal alignment than conventional receiving scheme.
