Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of bifurcation point of alkoxy side chains on photovoltaic performance of 5-alkoxy-6-fluorobenzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole-based conjugated polymers

TL;DR: In this article, three copolymers (PTTAFBT-C0, PTTAFFT-C1 and PTTAFTBTB-C2 ) based on thieno[3,2-b ]thiophene and 5-alkoxy-6-fluorobenzo-[ c ][1,2,5]thiadiazole (AFBT) bearing branched alkoxy chains with varied branching positions are synthesized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimizing the energy levels and crystallinity of 2,2′-bithiophene-3,3′-dicarboximide-based polymer donors for high-performance non-fullerene organic solar cells

TL;DR: In this article, a new series of polymer donors consisting of dithieno[2,3-d:2′,3′-d′]benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]dithiophene (DTBDT) and 2,2′-bithiopane-3,3)-dicarboximide (BTI) units were synthesized and named PDTBDT, PDTBDTs-T, and PDTBDt-T-Cl.
Journal ArticleDOI

A-π-D-π-A small-molecule donors with different end alkyl chains obtain different morphologies in organic solar cells

TL;DR: In this paper, two novel Aπ-D-π-A (A represents the acceptor unit and D represents the donor unit) backbone structure small molecular electron donors based on two dimensional conjugated naphtho[1,2-b:5,6-b]-dithiophene (NDT) with different end alkyl chains are designed and synthesized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Engineering of thick human functional myocardium via static stretching and electrical stimulation

TL;DR: In this article , the authors used layer-by-layer fabrication to construct triple-layered human cardiac-muscle patches (hCMPs) from induced pluripotent stem cells derived cardiomyocytes (iCMs).
