Structure and Dynamics of Asymmetric Poly(styrene-b-1,4-isoprene) Diblock Copolymer under 1D and 2D Nanoconfinement

TL;DR: The dynamic glass transition, related to the segmental modes of the styrene and isoprene blocks, is independent of the dimensionality and the finite sizes of confinement, but the normal mode is influenced by both factors with 2D geometrical constraints exerting greater impact.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced intermolecular interactions to improve twisted polymer photovoltaic performance

TL;DR: In this paper, a twisted polymer (PBDT-3T) photovoltaic efficiency was improved by employing C=O groups to enhance intermolecular interactions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nanoscale heterogeneous distribution of surface energy at interlayers in organic bulk-heterojunction solar cells

TL;DR: In this article, an effective strategy to tune the nanoscale heterogeneous distribution of surface energy (HeD-SE) at interlayers through incorporating two-dimensional (2D) MoS2 nanosheets, which modulates the component distribution, molecular orientation, and phase separation in the upper BHJ layers, leading to suppressed charge recombination and increased charge extraction in devices with enhanced power conversion efficiency (PCE) and device stability.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface growth of highly oriented covalent organic framework thin film with enhanced photoresponse speed

TL;DR: In this article, an oriented photoconductive COF film was synthesized by in situ growth method and showed greatly improved photoresponse speed as compared with randomly oriented films.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of aggregation behavior on photovoltaic performances in benzodithiophene-thiazolothiazole-based wide band-gap conjugated polymers with side chain position changes

TL;DR: In this paper, two conjugated donor polymers (PBTz1 and PBTz-2) based on benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]dithiophene and thiazolothiazole (TzTz) with different side chain positions were designed and synthesized.
