The surface diffuseness and the spin-orbital splitting in relativistic continuum Hartree-Bogoliubov theory
Jie Meng,Isao Tanihata +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the relativistic continuum Hartree-Bogoliubov (RCHB) theory is used to study tin isotopes and the pairing correlation is taken into account by a density-dependent force of zero range.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic rotation and quasicollective structures in 58 Fe: Influence of the ν g 9 / 2 orbital
David Steppenbeck,R. V. F. Janssens,S. J. Freeman,M. P. Carpenter,P. Chowdhury,A. N. Deacon,Michio Honma,Hua Jin,T. Lauritsen,C. J. Lister,Jie Meng,J. Peng,D. Seweryniak,J. F. Smith,Yang Sun,Yang Sun,Yang Sun,S. L. Tabor,B. J. Varley,Ying-Chun Yang,Shudong Zhang,Pengwei Zhao,S. Zhu +22 more
TL;DR: The structure of the Fe nucleus was investigated at Gammasphere using fusion-evaporation reactions at a beam energy of 130 MeV and an excitation energy of 16.6 MeV as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solving Dirac equations on a 3D lattice with inverse Hamiltonian and spectral methods
Z. X. Ren,Shishu Zhang,Jie Meng +2 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new method to solve the Dirac equation on a 3D lattice is proposed, in which the variational collapse problem is avoided by the inverse Hamiltonian method and the fermion doubling problem by performing spatial derivatives in momentum space with the help of the discrete Fourier transform, i.e., the spectral method.
Journal ArticleDOI
Discovery of a new long-lived isomeric state in 125Ce
Bao-Hua Sun,Yu. A. Litvinov,P. M. Walker,K. Beckert,P. Beller,F. Bosch,D. Boutin,C. Brandau,L. Chen,C. Dimopoulou,Hans Geissel,R. Knöbel,C. Kozhuharov,J. Kurcewicz,S. A. Litvinov,M. Mazzocco,Jie Meng,C. Nociforo,F. Nolden,W. R. Plass,C. Scheidenberger,M. Steck,Helmut Weick,M. Winkler +23 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new long-lived isomeric state in the near proton dripline nucleus 125Ce has been identified with Schottky mass spectrometry at GSI.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fully self-consistent relativistic Brueckner-Hartree-Fock theory for finite nuclei
Shihang Shen,Haozhao Liang,Jie Meng,Jie Meng,Jie Meng,Peter Ring,Peter Ring,Shuangquan Zhang +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, Shen et al. proposed a fully self-consistent relativistic Brueckner-Hartree-Fock theory for finite nuclei and proved its correctness.
