Cleaning using nanobubbles: defouling by electrochemical generation of bubbles.
Zhihua Wu,Hongbing Chen,Yaming Dong,Huiling Mao,Jielin Sun,Shenfu Chen,Vincent S. J. Craig,Jun Hu +7 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that nanobubbles can be used as cleaning agents both for the prevention of surface fouling and for defouling surfaces, as well as for the Prevention of nonspecific adsorption of proteins.
Journal ArticleDOI
Detection of novel gaseous states at the highly oriented pyrolytic graphite-water interface
Xuehua Zhang,Xiaodong Zhang,Jielin Sun,Zhixiang Zhang,Gang Li,Haiping Fang,Xudong Xiao,Xiaocheng Zeng,Jun Hu +8 more
TL;DR: A novel form of the gaseous state at the interface of water and highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) that is induced by local supersaturation of gas is reported and flat (quasi-two-dimensional, pancake-like) gas layers and nanobubble-flat gas layer composites were detected.
Journal ArticleDOI
Studies of nanobubbles produced at liquid/solid interfaces
Shitao Lou,Jianxia Gao,Xu-Dong Xiao,Xiaojun Li,Guanglai Li,Yi Zhang,Minquian Li,Jielin Sun,Xinhui Li,Jun Hu,Jun Hu +10 more
TL;DR: The conformation of the bubbles was influenced by the atomic steps of the graphite substrate and shadows found around the bubbles were attributed to the interactions between a bubble adhered to the tip and the bubbles on the surface as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
NUDT21 negatively regulates PSMB2 and CXXC5 by alternative polyadenylation and contributes to hepatocellular carcinoma suppression
Sheng Tan,Hua Li,Weijie Zhang,Yunying Shao,Yuan Liu,Haiyang Guan,Jun Wu,Yani Kang,Junsong Zhao,Qing Yu,Yunzhao Gu,Keshuo Ding,Min Zhang,Wenchang Qian,Yong Zhu,Huayong Cai,Changyu Chen,Peter E. Lobie,Xiaodong Zhao,Jielin Sun,Tao Zhu +20 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that NUDT21 inhibits HCC proliferation, metastasis and tumorigenesis, at least in part, by suppressing PSMB2 and CXXC5, and thereby provided a new insight into understanding the connection of HCC suppression and APA machinery.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nanobubbles influence on BSA adsorption on mica surface
TL;DR: In this article, bovine serum albumin (BSA) adsorbed on mica was used as a model system to investigate the effect of nanobubbles on protein adsorption at the liquid/solid interface.
