Blue-shifted dispersive wave generation by the diffraction-arrested solitons for coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering microscopy in a photonic crystal fiber
Jinhui Yuan,Jinhui Yuan,Xinzhu Sang,Guiyao Zhou,Guiyao Zhou,Hongzhan Liu,Changming Xia,Qiang Wu,Qiang Wu,Chongxiu Yu,Kuiru Wang,Binbin Yan,Ying Han,Gerald Farrell,Gerald Farrell,Lantian Hou +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the broadband blue-shifted dispersive waves (DWs) are efficiently generated by the diffraction-arrested solitons in a photonic crystal fiber (PCF) designed and fabricated in our laboratory.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combined nonlinear effects for UV to visible wavelength generation in a photonic crystal fiber
TL;DR: In this article, the combined nonlinear effects, including four-wave mixing, stimulated Raman scattering, soliton dynamics, and cross-phase modulation by coupling femtosecond pulses around 850 nm into the normal dispersion region near the zero-dispersion wavelength in the fundamental mode of a homemade silica photonic crystal fiber, were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Visible blue-shifted dispersive wave generation in the second-order mode of photonic crystal fiber
TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrated the generation of dispersive waves (DWs) at the visible wavelength by coupling femtosecond pulses into the anomalous dispersion region of the second-order mode of a homemade photonic crystal fiber.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental study of single channel 100 Gbit/s PAM4 transmission over 40 km using 17 GHz EML and APD at O band
Jiahao Huo,Jiahao Huo,Xian Zhou,Xian Zhou,Kangping Zhong,Jiajing Tu,Jiajing Tu,Wei Huangfu,Jinhui Yuan,Zhe Kang,Keping Long,Changyuan Yu,Alan Pak Tao Lau,Chao Lu +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, a single channel 100 Gbit/s PAM4 transmission at O band is experimentally studied based on low cost intensity modulation and direct detection (IM-DD).
Journal ArticleDOI
Switchable multi-wavelength fiber laser based on a taper-coupled microbottle resonator
TL;DR: In this article , a multi-wavelength erbium-doped fiber laser (EDFL) based on a taper-coupled microbottle resonator is proposed and investigated experimentally.
