Ultrasonic Study Of URu2Si2At Very Low Temperatures
TL;DR: The velocity of longitudinal ultrasound propagated along the a axis in URu2Si2 has been studied at temperatures down to 40 mK and in magnetic fields of up to 45 T applied along the c axis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sound velocity and magnetization measurements near the antiferronagnetic transition in the heavy fernion system URu2Si2
S. W. Lin,Shireen Adenwalla,Q. Z. Ran,K. J. Sun,D. G. Hinks,John B Ketterson,Moises Levy,Bimal K. Sarma +7 more
TL;DR: The heavy fermion superconductor URu2Si2 has a superconducting transition at 1.4 K and an antiferromagnetic transition at 17.5K as discussed by the authors.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Bi substitution effects on Sb/sub 2/Te/sub 3/ thin films
TL;DR: In this paper, the structural and thermoelectric properties of (Sb/sub 1-x/Bi/sub x/)/sub 2/Te/sub 3/ MBE grown thin films on CdTe(111) were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mbe Growth and Thermoelectric Properties OF Bi2Te3 Thin Films
TL;DR: In this article, high quality Bi2 Te3 thin films on CdTe(111)B substrates using MBE have been grown using in-situ reflection high-energy electron diffraction (RHEED) and θ-2θ X-ray diffraction analysis.
Book ChapterDOI
Positive Ion Mobility in Liquid 3He
TL;DR: In this paper, the shape of the mobility minimum is related to the layered model proposed by Johnson and Glaberson, and it is shown that the minimum with temperature near 0.3°K is a consequence of the well-known minimum in the melting curve of 3He.
