AN EQUATION OF STATE FOR THE KONDO SYSTEM La:Ce
TL;DR: In this paper, a phenomenological model was developed which assumes that the density of states N(E) ∝ (e2 + Δ)−1/4 whwrw Δ−1 is a lifetime.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optorheological thickening under the pulsed laser photocrosslinking of a polymer
Stephen R. Okoniewski,Danielle Wisniewski,Laszlo Frazer,W. Mu,Andrew Arceo,Pranjali Rathi,John B Ketterson +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the dependence of the viscosity of a polymer solution under pulsed laser photocrosslinking as a function of radiation dose is determined using the Brownian motion of colloidal polystyrene tracers that were optically confined to a one dimensional channel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic field investigation of the acoustic impedance resonance near 2Δ(T) in 3He-A
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the acoustic impedance resonance reported by Meisel et al. is independent of Ĥ, q orientation and satisfies ω (T ) = a ξ Δ (T ), where Δ(T ) is the maximum in the weak coupling axial state gap and ξ = 1.8.
Journal ArticleDOI
Doppler-Shifted Ultrasonic Spin Resonance in Metals
Journal ArticleDOI
Thickness dependence of spin wave dynamics in three-fold nano-ellipse clusters
Wonbae Bang,Wonbae Bang,Federico Montoncello,Axel Hoffmann,Loris Giovannini,John B Ketterson +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an experimental and theoretical study of spin wave dynamics in three-fold vertices made of permalloy nano-ellipses, with thicknesses ranging from 7.5 nm to 40 nm, is presented.
