TL;DR: In this paper, the first experimental observation of high-order harmonic emission at individual half-cycles of a laser pulse was reported, and it was shown that these half-cycle emissions are extremely sensitive to the carrier-envelope phase (CEP) stabilization and few-cycle laser systems.

Electron diffraction in above-threshold ionization of molecules
