TL;DR: In this article, a cylindrical model of a transversely vibrating cylinder placed near a wall and exposed to oscillatory flows was used to simulate the oscillatory flow and a spanwise correlation was calculated, based on pressure measurements on the surface of the cylinder.

Hybrid morphological modelling of shoreline response to a detached breakwater
TL;DR: In this article, a hybrid morphological model for calculating morphological changes induced by the presence of breakwaters is presented, which combines a process based area model, used to calculate the sediment transport field in the two horizontal dimensions, with a simplified morphological updating scheme where the evolving cross-shore profile is described by a limited number of parameters.

Wave boundary layers in a convergent tunnel
TL;DR: In this article, the authors deal with turbulent oscillatory boundary layers in a convergent-divergent channel with smooth walls and show that there exists a constant streaming near the wall in the direction towards the convergent end of the channel.
