Journal ArticleDOI
Novel avenues for identification of new antifungal drugs and current challenges
TL;DR: This review summarizes various approaches to the discovery and development of new antifungals, provides an overview of important molecules in basic research and compounds in clinical trials, and focuses on drug repurposing strategy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study of Biological Activities and ADMET-Related Properties of Salicylanilide-Based Peptidomimetics
Dominika Pindjakova,Eliška Pilařová,Karel Pauk,Hana Michnová,Jan Hošek,Pratibha Magar,Alois Cizek,Ales Imramovsky,Josef Jampilek +8 more
TL;DR: It was observed that the connecting linker between the chlorsalicylic and 4-CF3-anilide cores must be substituted with a bulky and/or lipophilic chain such as isopropyl, isobutyl, or thiabutyl chain.
Journal ArticleDOI
Controlled synthesis of gemini surfactant-capped gold nanoparticles. Gemini structure-nanoparticle properties relationship study
Martin Pisárčik,Miloš Lukáč,Josef Jampilek,Ľudmila Pašková,František Bilka,Andrea Bilková,Ferdinand Devínsky,Jakub Vaľko,Renáta Horáková,Jan Hošek,Matěj Březina,Tomáš Opravil +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , the size of gold nano-aprticles depends on gemini surfactants spacer length and cytotoxicity of gold nanoparticles correlates with their size dependence on spacer lengths.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cimetidine Nanoparticles Study
Journal ArticleDOI
Coupling Reactions of α-Bromocarboxylate with Non-Aromatic N-Heterocycles
TL;DR: The conditions for the C-N bond forming reaction (C-N coupling reaction) between α-bromocarboxylate and nitrogen-containing non-aromatic heterocyclic rings under heterogeneous copper(I) oxide catalysis are investigated and in silico results correlate relatively with the experimental observations.
