Journal ArticleDOI

Derivatives of Graphene Oxide as Potential Drug Carriers.

TL;DR: Chemically functionalized graphene oxides could be used as novel drug carriers and covalent modifications appear to be superior as they can yield compounds with desired properties and carriers prepared by other methods are less stable.
Book ChapterDOI

Recent advances in lipid nanocarriers applicable in the fight against cancer

TL;DR: This chapter is focused on the application of lipid-based nanocarriers representing a class of biocompatible and biodegradable vehicles that provide advanced delivery of therapeutic and imaging agents, improving pharmacokinetic profile and safety in cancer therapy and diagnostics.
Journal ArticleDOI

Halogenated 1-Hydroxynaphthalene-2-Carboxanilides Affecting Photosynthetic Electron Transport in Photosystem II

TL;DR: A series of seventeen new multihalogenated 1-hydroxynaphthalene-2-carboxanilides was prepared and characterized for their activity related to the inhibition of photosynthetic electron transport (PET) in spinach and the structure-activity relationships are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Primary investigation of the preparation of nanoparticles by precipitation.

TL;DR: Cholesterol, cholestenolone and pregnanolone acetate as model active pharmaceutical ingredients and some of the commonly used excipients as nanoparticle stabilizers were used in the investigated precipitation method that was modified and simplified and can be used as an effective and an affordable technique for the preparation of nanoparticles.
