Harmonic analysis of converter-fed DC systems under unbalanced and harmonic supply voltages

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors extended the switching function approach to analyze the harmonic content of a phase-controlled DC system when the supply voltages may be unbalanced and contain harmonic components.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Resistive load synthesis in three-phase four-wire systems using a parallel active power filter

TL;DR: In this article, the reference currents of a parallel active power filter used in three-phase four-wire systems are generated by synthesizing a 3-phase three-wire balanced load that is resistive and time invariant with respect to the source.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Dynamometer-based testing of a proof-of-concept fuel cell vehicle prototype

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a "proof-of-concept" fuel cell vehicle prototype using a dynamometer-based test bench, where the main objective was the validation of design ideas regarding the combination of two different energy storage devices (i.e., batteries and ultracapacitors) into an ESU for the power management of this vehicle.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Analysis of a Grid-Connected Shoot-Through Current Immune Three-Phase Converter Topoloy under Unbalanced Loading Conditions

TL;DR: The analysis of a shoot-through-proof converter topology designed to eliminate the need for a dead time between switching transitions is presented and the results of both the simulations and prototype testing showed very good agreement.
