Journal ArticleDOI
Disulfide bonds in amyloidogenesis diseases related proteins.
TL;DR: The role of disulfide on the stability, structure, oligomerization, and amyloidogenecity of native folded or unfolded amyloidsogenic proteins is focused on.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dissecting the role of disulfide bonds on the amyloid formation of insulin.
Yang Li,Hao Gong,Yue Sun,Juan Yan,Biao Cheng,Xin Zhang,Jing Huang,Mengying Yu,Yu Guo,Ling Zheng,Kun Huang +10 more
TL;DR: The results indicated that breakage of A7-B7 induced more unfolding of the insulin structure and a higher amyloidogenicity than breakages of A6-A11, but breakages caused a significant cytotoxicity increase and aHigher potency to form high order toxic oligomers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tumor-intrinsic PRC2 inactivation drives a context-dependent immune-desert microenvironment and is sensitized by immunogenic viruses
Juan Yan,Yue-xiu Chen,Amisha Patel,Sara Warda,Cindy Lee,Briana G. Nixon,Elissa W.P. Wong,Miguel A Miranda-Román,N. Yang,Yi Wang,Mohini R. Pachai,Jessica Sher,Emily Giff,Fa-qing Tang,Ekta Khurana,Samuel Singer,Yang Liu,Phillip M. Galbo Jr.,Jesper L.V. Maag,Richard Koche,Deyou Zheng,Cristina R. Antonescu,Liang Deng,Ming Li,Yu Chen,Ping Chi +25 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that inactivation of the polycomb-repressive complex 2 (PRC2) core components embryonic ectoderm development (EED) or suppressor of zeste 12 homolog (SUZ12), a prevalent genetic event in malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors and sporadically in other cancers, drove a context-dependent immune-desert TME.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reconstruction of the gastric cancer microenvironment after neoadjuvant chemotherapy by longitudinal single-cell sequencing
Yingtai Chen,Jianhua Yin,Lulu Zhao,Guangyu Zhou,Shichen Dong,Yueming Zhang,Penghui Niu,He Ren,Tianjiao Zheng,Juan Yan,Wenbin Li,Peiqing Ma,Cui-Juan Zhang,Chen Wei,George M. Church,Guibo Li,Dong-bing Zhao +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the tumor microenvironment (TME) response after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) in gastric cancer on the molecular level was analyzed using single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq).
Journal ArticleDOI
Mir-421 and mir-550a-1 are potential prognostic markers in esophageal adenocarcinoma
Yun Ji,Lulu Wang,Guanglei Chang,Juan Yan,Liping Dai,Zhenyu Ji,Jingjing Li,Meixia He,Liguo Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the prognostic indicators of esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC) diagnosis and treatment were identified using Cox proportional-hazards regression analysis and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator based on survival duration and status.
