Journal ArticleDOI

Plant cell surface immune receptor complex signaling.

TL;DR: Current knowledge of molecular mechanisms underlying receptor complex dynamics and regulation are highlighted, and early signaling networks implicated in the activation of generic plant immune responses are covered.
Posted ContentDOI

Genotyping-by-sequencing-based identification of Arabidopsis pattern recognition receptor RLP32 recognizing proteobacterial translation initiation factor IF1

TL;DR: Natural variation in IF1 sensitivity is deployed to identify leucine-rich repeat (LRR) receptor-like protein 32 (RLP32) as the corresponding Arabidopsis receptor using a restriction site-associated DNA sequencing (RAD-seq) approach, highlighting an unexpectedly complex array of bacterial pattern sensors within a single plant species.
Journal ArticleDOI

ABA-Dependent Salt Stress Tolerance Attenuates Botrytis Immunity in Arabidopsis.

TL;DR: A regulatory role of ABA is proposed in attenuating Botrytis immunity in this plant under salt stress conditions because abscisic acid levels were already elevated before pathogen infection and application of exogenous ABA substituted for salt-watering in increasing Arabidopsis susceptibility toward B. cinerea infection.
