The mass spectrum of the first stars
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used cosmological hydrodynamics simulations with non-equilibrium primordial chemistry to obtain 59 minihalos that host first stars, which are used as initial conditions of local three dimensional radiation hydrodynamic simulations to investigate the formation of the first stars.
Journal ArticleDOI

Systematic Identification of LAEs for Visible Exploration and Reionization Research Using Subaru HSC (SILVERRUSH). I. Program Strategy and Clustering Properties of ~2,000 Lya Emitters at z=6-7 over the 0.3-0.5 Gpc$^2$ Survey Area
Masami Ouchi,Yuichi Harikane,Takatoshi Shibuya,Kazuhiro Shimasaku,Yoshiaki Taniguchi,Akira Konno,Masakazu A. R. Kobayashi,Masaru Kajisawa,Tohru Nagao,Yoshiaki Ono,Akio K. Inoue,Masayuki Umemura,Masao Mori,Kenji Hasegawa,Ryo Higuchi,Yutaka Komiyama,Yuichi Matsuda,Kimihiko Nakajima,Tomoki Saito,Shiang-Yu Wang +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the SILVERRUSH program strategy and clustering properties investigated with 2,000 Ly$\alpha emitters at $z=5.7$ and $6.6$ were found in the early data of the HSC's Subaru Strategic Program survey exploiting the carefully designed narrowband filters.
Journal ArticleDOI
Charged-current exclusive pion production in neutrino-deuterium interactions.
T. Kitagaki,H. Yuta,S. Tanaka,Akira Yamaguchi,Koji Abe,Kenji Hasegawa,K. Tamai,S. Kunori,Y. Otani,H. Hayano,Hiroyuki Sagawa,K. Akatsuka,K. Furuno,N. J. Baker,A. M. Cnops,P. L. Connolly,S.A. Kahn,Harold Kirk,M. J. Murtagh,Robert B. Palmer,N. P. Samios,M. Tanaka,M. Higuchi,M. Sato +23 more
TL;DR: High-statistics data from two exposures of the BNL 7-foot deuterium bubble chamber to a wide-band-neutrino beam with an average energy of 1.6 GeV were analyzed for exclusive pion production in charged-current neutrino-deuterium interactions to present new results for single-pion and multipion production.
Journal ArticleDOI
Triggered O Star Formation in M20 via Cloud–Cloud Collision: Comparisons between High-resolution CO Observations and Simulations
Kazufumi Torii,Yasuki Hattori,Kenji Hasegawa,Akio Ohama,Thomas J. Haworth,Kazuhiro Shima,Asao Habe,Kengo Tachihara,Norikazu Mizuno,Toshikazu Onishi,Akira Mizuno,Yasuo Fukui +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the new CO J = 1−0 and J = 3−2 observations of the colliding clouds in M20 performed with the Mopra and ASTE telescopes.
