ADAR1 Forms a Complex with Dicer to Promote MicroRNA Processing and RNA-Induced Gene Silencing

TL;DR: This study found that ADAR1 forms a complex with Dicer through direct protein-protein interaction and increases the maximum rate (Vmax) of pre-microRNA (miRNA) cleavage by Dicer and facilitates loading of miRNA onto RNA-induced silencing complexes, identifying a new role ofADAR1 in miRNA processing and RNAi mechanisms.
Journal ArticleDOI

ADAR1 RNA editing enzyme regulates R-loop formation and genome stability at telomeres in cancer cells

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that ADAR1p110 regulates R-loop formation and genome stability at telomeres in cancer cells carrying non-canonical variants of telomeric repeats.
Journal ArticleDOI

Exosome-like vesicles released from ob/ob mouse adipose tissue enhance cell survival of cells with radiation-induced genomic instability

TL;DR: In this paper , the effect of obesity on the survival of mouse fibroblast cells after radiation exposure was investigated, and it was shown that obese mice showed enhanced colony forming ability in unirradiated m5S cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evaluation of sperm fertilization capacity of large Japanese field mice (Apodemus speciosus) exposed to chronic low dose-rate radiation after the Fukushima accident

TL;DR: In this paper , the in vitro fertilization capacity of wild large Japanese field mice (Apodemus speciosus) within the ex-evacuation zone of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant (FDNPP) exposed to chronic low dose-rate (LDR) radiation since 2011 were examined.
