TL;DR: Low-functioning patients were cognitively more impaired than highly functioning patients on verbal recall and executive functions and the variable that best predicted psychosocial functioning in bipolar patients was verbal memory.

The relationship between job stress, burnout and clinical depression
TL;DR: Empirical research suggests that burnout and depression are separate entities, although they may share several 'qualitative' characteristics, especially in the more severe forms of burnout, and in vulnerable individuals, low levels of satisfaction derived from their everyday work.

TL;DR: The results constitute a clear message that vulnerable populations are at a need for specific interventions concerning their mental health issues and although suicidal thoughts have risen substantially, it seems unlikely this will result in deaths.

TL;DR: A score of 6/7 on the GDS-15 was found to be the best cut-off point for diagnosing depression in an elderly Greek population, with Sensitivity=92.23 and Specificity=95.24, and factor analysis of the G DS-15 revealed 4 factors: a cognitive, an affective, a functional, and a factor that reflects helplessness and fear for the future.
