TL;DR: HLA‐B*13:01‐linked dapsone hypersensitivity is studied to explore whether the parent drug and/or nitroso metabolite activate T cells and determine whether HLA•B* 13:01 is involved in the response.

TL;DR: A three-stage genome-wide association study of protein-coding variants in Han Chinese showed involvement of skin barrier and endocytosis/phagocyTosis/autophagy, in addition to known innate and adaptive immunity, in the pathogenesis of leprosy, highlighting the merits ofprotein-c coding variant studies for complex diseases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of PTPN22, ST6GAL1 and JAZF1 as psoriasis risk genes demonstrates shared pathogenesis between psoriasis and diabetes.

TL;DR: This work genotyped 89 reported diabetes susceptibility loci in 4456 psoriasis cases and 6027 controls of Chinese population using the MassARRAY system from Sequenom to investigate shared pathogenesis between these two diseases and implicated the involvement of T‐cell receptor signalling pathway in the pathogenesis of Psoriasis.
