Journal ArticleDOI
Systematic identification of protein complexes in Saccharomyces cerevisiae by mass spectrometry
Yuen Ho,Albrecht Gruhler,Adrian Heilbut,Gary D. Bader,Gary D. Bader,Lynda Moore,Sally-Lin Adams,Anna Millar,Paul J. Taylor,Keiryn L. Bennett,Kelly Boutilier,Lingyun Yang,Cheryl Wolting,Ian Donaldson,Søren Schandorff,Juanita Shewnarane,Mai Vo,Joanne Taggart,Marilyn Goudreault,Brenda Muskat,Cris Alfarano,Danielle Dewar,Zhen Lin,Katerina Michalickova,Katerina Michalickova,Andrew Willems,Andrew Willems,Holly Sassi,Peter A Nielsen,Karina Juhl Rasmussen,Jens R. Hendrickson,Frank Gleeson,Tony Pawson,Tony Pawson,Michael Moran,Daniel Durocher,Daniel Durocher,Matthias Mann,Christopher W. V. Hogue,Christopher W. V. Hogue,Daniel Figeys,Mike Tyers,Mike Tyers +52 more
TL;DR: Comparison of the HMS-PCI data set with interactions reported in the literature revealed an average threefold higher success rate in detection of known complexes compared with large-scale two-hybrid studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Discriminating isogenic cancer cells and identifying altered unsaturated fatty acid content as associated with metastasis status, using k-means clustering and partial least squares-discriminant analysis of Raman maps.
Martin A.B. Hedegaard,Christoph Krafft,Henrik J. Ditzel,Lene E. Johansen,Søren Hassing,Jiirgen Popp +5 more
TL;DR: This study is the first to demonstrate the association between polyunsaturated fatty acid content and metastatic ability in this unique cell model system and is in agreement with previous studies on this topic.
Journal ArticleDOI
Restriction of GAGE protein expression to subpopulations of cancer cells is independent of genotype and may limit the use of GAGE proteins as targets for cancer immunotherapy.
TL;DR: Surprisingly, in normal tissues the authors found that GAGE proteins were not restricted to testis, but were also present in a subset of oocytes of resting primordial follicles and in maturing oocytes, the first time that a cancer testis antigen has been reported in postfoetal oocytes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of genes with altered expression in medullary breast cancer vs. ductal breast cancer and normal breast epithelia.
Morten F. Gjerstorff,Vivian M. Benoit,Anne Vibeke Lænkholm,Ole Haagen Nielsen,Lene E. Johansen,Henrik J. Ditzel,Henrik J. Ditzel +6 more
TL;DR: A limited number of genes, including several members of the GAGE and insulin growth factor binding protein (IGFBP) gene families, Vav1, monoglyceride lipase and NADP+-dependent malic enzyme, exhibited altered expression in MCB vs. ductal breast cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Patients with inflammatory arthritic diseases harbor elevated serum and synovial fluid levels of free and immune-complexed glucose-6-phosphate isomerase (G6PI).
Monica Schaller,Monica Schaller,William Stohl,Vivian M. Benoit,Soon-Min Tan,Lene E. Johansen,Henrik J. Ditzel,Henrik J. Ditzel,Henrik J. Ditzel +8 more
TL;DR: The notion that elevated G6 PI levels present in patients with immune-based inflammatory arthritis may contribute to elevated levels of anti-G6PI Abs and G6PI/anti-G 6PI immune complexes is supported.
