Journal ArticleDOI
Development of an Image Fringe Zero Selection System for Structuring Elements with Stereo Vision Disparity Measurements
TL;DR: This paper details how this can be achieved with simulated hardware using DSP Builder in Matlab with the intention of migrating the design to HDL and implemented on an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array).
Journal ArticleDOI
A Perturbation Observer-Based Fast Frequency Support Control for Low-Inertia Power Grids Through VSC-HVDC Systems
Proceedings ArticleDOI
An Improved Virtual Constant Signal Injection MTPA Control for PMa-SynRM Drives
TL;DR: In this article , an improved MTPA control strategy with virtual constant signal injection for the PMa-SynRM drives is proposed, and the response time of the proposed method is shortened from 800ms of the virtual sinusoidal signal injection method to about 50ms when the load changes suddenly.
A Local Signal based Inter-area Damping Controller via Dynamic State Estimation Approach
TL;DR: In this paper , a local signal based inter-area damping controller (LSIADC) is proposed to suppress interarea oscillation without using wide-area signals, where the local signal is extracted by dynamic state estimation (DSE) technique and the control signal is obtained by adding proper phase shift to the extracted signal.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
A Time-saving and Highly-Accurate Blind Chromatic Dispersion Estimation Method for Coherent Optical Communication System
TL;DR: Experimental results show only ~20% estimation time is required to achieve similar high accuracy compared to previous scan/search CD estimation techniques.
