Journal ArticleDOI

An efficient organic-dye-sensitized solar cell with in situ polymerized poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) as a hole-transporting material.

TL;DR: An indoline D149 dye-sensitized solar cell with in situ polymerized PEDOT prepared in a specially designed thin-layer electrolytic cell to serve as the polymer HTM gives an average light-to-electrical efficiency of 6.1% under full sun illumination, which represents a remarkable improvement for polymer-HTM-based DSSCs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Butterfly-Shaped Conjugated Oligoelectrolyte/Graphene Oxide Integrated Assay for Light-Up Visual Detection of Heparin

TL;DR: A water-soluble pyrene-based butterfly shaped conjugated oligoelectrolyte is synthesized and integrated with graphene oxide to form a label-free assay for heparin detection, demonstrating a new synthetic strategy to develop GO-based chemical and biological sensing without the employment of dye-labeled biomolecules.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bridged Triphenylamine-Based Dendrimers: Tuning Enhanced Two-Photon Absorption Performance with Locked Molecular Planarity

TL;DR: This series of dendrimers show significantly enhanced two-photon absorptions that are up to 3-fold that of triphenylamines with similar molecular size and structure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design and Synthesis of Charge-Transfer-Based Conjugated Polyelectrolytes as Multicolor Light-Up Probes

TL;DR: Cationic poly[9,9-bis(6′-N,N, N-trimethylammonium)hexyl)fluorene-alt-4,7-(2,1,3-benzothiadiazole) dibromide] (PFBT) and poly [9, 9-bis (6′-(N, n,N-trIMethylammium),hexyl),fluorenyldivinylene-alt,4, 7-(2
Journal ArticleDOI

Affibody-attached hyperbranched conjugated polyelectrolyte for targeted fluorescence imaging of HER2-positive cancer cell.

TL;DR: A hyperbranched conjugated polyelectrolyte with a core-shell structure is designed and synthesized via alkyne polycyclotrimerization and click chemistry, allowing for efficient bioconjugation with anti-HER2 affibody via carbodiimide-activated coupling reaction.
