One-step synthesis of Au–Ag alloy nanoparticles using soluble starch and their photocatalytic performance for 4-nitrophenol degradation

TL;DR: In this article, the soluble starch was employed as a reducing and capping agent to synthesize stable Au-Ag alloy NPs without using any toxic agent, and the surface plasmon resonance wavelength and composition of Au and Ag alloy nanoparticles could be continuously adjusted only by the synthesis time in one-pot.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improved photocatalytic activity of LaFeO3 with doping Mn3+ ions and modifying Pd2+ ions for photoreduction of CO2 into CH4

TL;DR: In this article, a new type of Mn-doped and Pd-modified LaFeO3 (LaFeO 3-Mn-Pd) photocatalyst is introduced by a sol-gel method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isolation of Viable but Non-culturable Bacteria from Printing and Dyeing Wastewater Bioreactor Based on Resuscitation Promoting Factor

TL;DR: This study isolated viable but non-culturable (VBNC) bacteria from printing and dyeing wastewater with the culture media contained resuscitation promoting factor (Rpf) protein secreted by Micrococcus luteus, counted the culturable cells number with the most probable number, and sequenced 16S rRNA genes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Progress in Measurement of Thermoelectric Properties of Micro/Nano Thermoelectric Materials: A Critical Review

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors summarized the existing integrated measurement methods of thermoelectric properties of micro/nano thermolectric materials, including thermal conductivity, Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimization of microbial cell factories for astaxanthin production: Biosynthesis and regulations, engineering strategies and fermentation optimization strategies

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors summarize the recent scientific and biotechnological progresses on astaxanthin biosynthetic pathways, transcriptional regulations, the interrelation with lipid metabolism, engineering strategies as well as fermentation process control in major native and non-native producers.
