The role of ubiquitination in tumorigenesis and targeted drug discovery
TL;DR: The latest progress in understanding the substrates for ubiquitination and their special functions in tumor metabolism regulation, TME modulation and CSC stemness maintenance are summarized and potential therapeutic targets for cancer are reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Akt SUMOylation Regulates Cell Proliferation and Tumorigenesis
TL;DR: It is reported that Akt SUMOylation provides a novel regulatory mechanism for activating Akt function and dramatically reduced Akt1 E17K-mediated cell proliferation, cell migration, and tumorigenesis.

TL;DR: A mechanism for regulation of mTORC1 signaling by RNF152-mediated K63-linked polyubiquitination of RagA is revealed by identifying the lysosome-anchored E3 ubiquitin ligase R NF152 as an essential negative regulator of the m TORC1 pathway by targeting RagA for K 63-linked ubiquitination.
