Journal ArticleDOI

Processing of BSCCO 2212 and 2223 Superconductor Compounds

TL;DR: In this paper, high-Tc BSCCO superconductor tapes were prepared by the conventional powder-in-tube method and X-ray diffraction (XRD) showed the presence of both BSCCCO 2223 (Tc = 105 K) and BSCCCO 2212 (tc = 80 K) phases in all the materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Strongly correlated electron behaviour in stoichiometric CeRhSn and non-stoichiometric CexRhSn

TL;DR: In this article, the Griffiths phase in the vicinity of a quantum critical point was found to be responsible for the non-Fermi-liquid properties of CexRhSn alloys.
Journal ArticleDOI

A calorimetric study of long- and short-range magnetic interactions of the R3+ ions in NdBa2Cu3Ox and DyBa2Cu3Ox

TL;DR: In this paper, low temperature specific heat measurements were performed in order to obtain information about the magnetic ordering effects in NdBa 2 Cu 3 O x (Nd123x) and DyBa 2Cu 3 Ox (Dy123x).
Journal ArticleDOI

Superconductivity and magnetism in the pseudoternary system Dy(Rux Rh 1−x)4B4

TL;DR: In this paper, the pseudoternary system Dy(RuxRh1−x)4B4 has been studied by means of ac magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistance, heat capacity, static magnetic susceptibility and magnetization measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic response of Y 0.47 Pr 0.53 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7-δ : Superconductivity, glassiness, and paramagnetism

TL;DR: The magnetic response of strongly underdoped superparamagnetic particles with antiferromagnetic cores was investigated in this paper, where the authors found the presence of superconducting and magnetic orders deep into the paramagnetic state, up to $200.
