Journal ArticleDOI

Superconductivity and oxygen ordering in (Ca,Ba,La) Cu 3 O 7 − δ

TL;DR: It is suggested that two phases coexist in (Ca,Ba,La)Cu{sub 3}O{sub 7{minus}{delta}}: a {ital superconducting} phase in which La{sup 3+} ions occupy the Y{sup3+} sites, and a second {ital nonsuperconducting] phase where Ca{sup 2+} ion sites occupy the S3 sites.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nondestructive interactions of carbon nanotubes with Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8

TL;DR: In this article, the intercalation of carbon nanotubes (CNs) in polycrystalline Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 (BSCCO) samples at the 12 wt.%-CN doping level, based on high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and X-ray diffraction measurements was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Destruction of superconductivity in Nd 2 − x Ce x CuO 4 − δ thin films by ion irradiation

TL;DR: In this article, the resistivity and Hall coefficient of NCCO thin films were measured and shown to be two-carrier conductors, suggesting disorder effects in a homogeneous two-dimensional superconductor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic ordering in (La, Gd) Al2 alloys

TL;DR: In this article, the θ vs.n curve of the magnetic ordering temperature θ on Gd concentration n below ∼ 15 at.% Gd substitution for La is reported for the system ( La Gd) Al2.
