Journal ArticleDOI

The electrical resistivity of Au4V

TL;DR: In this article, the temperature dependence of the resistivity of ordered Au 4 V is qualitatively discussed in terms of the two-band model of s-d scattering; similarity between Ni and Ni is moted; and results of resistivity measurements on the disordered alloy 20 at.% V, Au are also presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel strongly correlated electron states in filled skutterudite lanthanide osmium antimonides

TL;DR: In this article, the superconductivity of the filled skutterudite compounds Pr ( Os 1 - x Ru x ) 4 Sb 12, NdOs 4 S b 12, and SmOs 4 sb 12 is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

29Si NMR study in U(Ru1−xRex)2Si2

TL;DR: In this article, the nuclear spin lattice relaxation rate of 29Si was shown to decrease with Re substitution, and the system was in the Fermi liquid state for x ⩽ 0.3.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic, thermal, and transport properties of the actinide based noncentrosymmetric compounds Th2Fe12P7 and U2Fe12P7

TL;DR: The measurements reveal that U2Fe 12P7 displays antiferromagnetic order at a Néel temperature T(N) ≈ 14 K, while Th2Fe12P7 is a metal which exhibits Pauli paramagnetism with no evidence for superconductivity for T ≥ 1.1 K.
Journal ArticleDOI

Unusual local disorder in NdOs 4 Sb 12 and PrOs 4 Sb 12 skutterudites

TL;DR: In this article, a temperature-dependent, extended x-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) analysis of the filled skutterudite compounds NdOs${}_{4}$Sb${}-12}, PrOs{}-4} $Sb{} -12}, and EuOs
