Journal ArticleDOI

Use of human adenovirus-based vectors for antigen expression in animals.

TL;DR: The utility of human adenoviral vectors for antigen expression in a number of non-human cell lines and for the induction of an immune response to the delivered antigen in anumber of species is demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cortical thickness in major depressive disorder: A systematic review and meta-analysis

TL;DR: Analysis of the full sample of subjects revealed significant thinning in the MDD group in the bilateral orbitofrontal gyrus, left pars opercularis, and left calcarine fissure/lingual gyrus as well as an area of significant thickening in the left supramarginal gyrus.
Journal ArticleDOI

The influence of chitosan content in cationic chitosan/PLGA nanoparticles on the delivery efficiency of antisense 2'-O-methyl-RNA directed against telomerase in lung cancer cells.

TL;DR: The uptake into A549 lung cancer cells is mediated via complexes of 2OMR and chitosan/PLGA nanoparticles despite the weak binding in cell culture medium, and the nanoparticles were well tolerated and efficient in inhibiting telomerase activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Neuron-glia Interaction as a Possible Pathophysiological Mechanism of Bipolar Disorder.

TL;DR: A review of neuron-glia interactions and their role in the pathophysiology and treatment of bipolar disorder concludes that astrocytes may have arole in the progression of bipolar Disorder, as these cells amplify inflammatory response and maintain glutamate homeostasis, preventing excitotoxicity.
