Journal ArticleDOI

Room temperature ferromagnetism in Fe-doped CeO2 thin films grown on LaAlO3 (001)

TL;DR: In this article, a single-phase cubic structure with a strong crystallographic orientation along the (200) plane has been characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), dc magnetization, near edge Xray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS), and Xray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD).
Journal ArticleDOI

Swift heavy ion irradiation induced magnetism in magnetically frustrated BiMn 2 O 5 thin films

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that the swift heavy ion (SHI) irradiation induces weak ferrimagnetism (FM) in magnetically frustrated polycrystalline thin films.
Journal ArticleDOI

Estado del arte de la internacionalización de la educación superior en américa latina

TL;DR: In 2005, el Banco Mundial publicó el libro La educación superior en América Latina, la dimensión internacional de la education superior en américa latina as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Joule heating in amorphous metallic wires

TL;DR: In this article, the temperature behavior of two selected wires submitted to a DC electrical current of increasing amplitude was calibrated by comparing the temperature dependence of the material's saturation magnetization obtained during Joule heating to that measured during conventional annealing in a furnace.
Journal ArticleDOI

Giant Hall effect in Co-SiO2 nanocomposites

TL;DR: In this article, measurements of both the ordinary and extraordinary components of the Hall effect in co-sputtered granular magnetic Co-SiO2 nanocomposites are presented.
